  • Existing Description Baghdad, Iraq, 25 October 2020. In Iraq, Iraqi Red Crescent Society volunteers are distributing masks and awareness materials as well as disinfecting the public places to flatten the curve. Their support to the local health authorities is vital as the total number of infected ones has climbed already over 450,000 people with more than 10,000 deaths. In addition to the COVID-19 awareness and mask distribution, IRCS volunteers provided also first aid for small injuries for the people in need of medical attention.
