Existing DescriptionSix years old Evelina Mangiolo is one of the Zambia's more than 890.000 orphans. Evellina's ribbed chest and swolen stomach is a clear manifestation of a tragic pattern, The food crisis is seriously overstretching extended familie's capacity to absorb the needs of orphans. Since their mother died and father left, Evelina and her older sister have been staying with their grandmother in Sinde, in the bush outside of Livingstone. These days, they are surviving mainly on wild fruit and nuts.
