  • Existing Description March 2020 Eswatini Red Cross Society Cash transfer operation.Reggina Dlamini, Gremmer Gumbi and Khanysile Khumalo couldn’t afford basic groceries due to drought that has ruined harvest and livelihood in Eswatini. The women received the food assistance through mobile money supported by Finnish Red Cross and ECHO. With SZL 714 (approximately 40 euros) worth of cash they can purchase corn flour, rice, beans and travel by using public transportation as the cheapest shops are over 15 kilometers away from their home.
