Existing DescriptionGlobal Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, Marrakesh 2019.
The Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration is a chance to ensure that all people migrating, especially separated and unaccompanied children, have access to the humanitarian assistance and protection they need. It is an opportunity the world cannot afford to miss.
Protecting unaccompanied and separated girls and boys from sexual and gender-based violence along their entire migratory route and ensuring access to needed services is a “blind spot” for many governments and humanitarian agencies. Identification, screening and referral systems for at-risk children and survivors of sexual violence and exploitation must be put in place or upgraded.
